Computer encryption
usually involves special software. The process is
complicated, the actual working processes are hidden
behind the scenes, and few are fully immune to the
wiles of the dilligent information theif.
This
simple, manual device can do the same job
as expensive encryption software and is impervious
to electronic bugs and meddling.
Due
to the letters and numbers not having to be in any
numerical or alphabetical order, it can create a
virtually unlimited number of codes that can only
be read by the individual with a similar device
and the appropriate "key". A computer
program could be created to automate the decoding
process.
