SINK CUTOUT TEMPLATE

Adjustable guide for cutting sink openings in new countertops

The "SINK CUTOUT TEMPLATE" is a relatively small assembly which provides the perfect guide for cutting an opening in a countertop for a sink.

The template is adjustable so that it can be used with sinks from different manufacturers -- making it a handy and useful tool for contractors and do-it-yourselfers alike.

The most appealing features of the "SINK CUTOUT TEMPLATE" are its ease of installation/removal, time savings, optimum size, and reasonable price.

The template measures approximately 20.5" inches in width, 1" in height, and 32" in length when fully expanded. Split into two sections, the smaller of which slide within the larger, all four sides are telescoping in design. Each section includes two or more mounting holes, thereby permiting the template to be attached to the underside of a countertop. Four pilot holes would also be provided in the template allowing easy cutting of the rounded corners at the sides of the desired opening.

Instead of drawing the outline for a sink opening through tedious and unreliable measurements, the individual merely turns the countertop upside down, temporarily screws the "SINK CUTOUT TEMPLATE" in place, and proceeds to cut with a standard hole and skill saw. The template makes the opening and guides the tools - it's as simple as that!

Can be used on all types of countertop - including granite and other stone composites.
